1 QUALIFIER:

  Qualifier Code: TaxaNote
Description: Notes taken about the taxa for a count; older data typically includes information such as beginning and end scan coordinates, unusual taxa, etc.
Comments: Start circle strip one: x40.5, y86.9 (Cymbella minuta at center); end circle strip one: x40.5, y98.3 (Cymbella lunata near left margin); start circle strip two: x41.2, y86.9 (Cymbella bottom left); end circle strip two: x41.2, y98.4; start circle strip three x42, y86.9; end circle x42, y89.5. Scan length: 25.5 mm. This slide appeared to be infected by bacilliform bacteria. Cymbella were often degraded and therefore difficult to ID. Perhaps Cym. minuta var. siliceaca should be lumped w/ Cym lunata (the larger examples)?
