Comments: gsn81089 Count start end of scribe line centered 72.25x97.5, Ni dissipata centered end 114.0 , 16.5mm Row 2 74.0x97.4 Diploneis top center end count 106.4, 9.0mm. total dist. counted = 25.5mm. Slide contains numerous smaller cells of Nav. circumtexta Slide was counted twice, I was not satisfied with the ID in the first count esp the Navicula cryptocephala types which appear diverse; Marina P. looked at these for me and suggested the Nav. crypo veneta var 1 & 2 . The lineolae appear coarser than noted in the literature for these Naviculas.
