The basic differences between my count and Lont's can probably be explained by small differences in scan length and position. Lont's Epithemia adnata should be changed to E. turgida v. westermannii. I also split Cocconeis into two varieties instead of one. Also note the small but noticeable population of Achnanthes suchlandtii.
