  Comments: start x=93.2, y=25.8; end x=94.3, y=16.7 Observed taxa: Cocconeis lineata Gomphonema elegantissimum Halamphora submontana Navicula capitatoradiata Navicula erifuga Planothidium frequentissimum Platessa hustedtii Sellaphora thienemannii Observations on individual taxa: - Nitzschia palea SHORT SUBCAPITATE = 4 valves Nitzschia palea = 0 (detailed explanation in count note of sample NEON00323) Nomenclatural updates (with respect to the ANSP 2011 list): Cocconeis placentula var. lineata, nowadays generally referred to as Cocconeis lineata Ehrenberg (see Romero & Jahn 2013). Gomphonema parvulum: This is a species complex. Denticula kuetzingii. This was shown by Tujii & Williams (2006) to be a Nitzschia: Nitzschia denticula. Gomphonema pumilum var. elegans, nowadays generally referred to as Gomphonema elegantissimum (Hofmann et al. 2011). Nitzschia sinuata var. delognei is nowadays usually referred to as Nitzschia solgensis. Navicula thienemanni, nowadays usually referred to as Sellaphora thienemanni.
