Cells about 1.3 times longer than broad with a deep median constriction and closed sinus. Cells are 3-lobed. Naded 327195: Cell length ranges from 42.2µm and width is 28.2µm. Cells about 1.5 times longer than broad. Deep median constriction. Sinus rounded at apex. Semicells are semielliptic and rounded at the apex. Cell wall thicker at apex. Naded 327247: Smaller than discription in Prescott Naded 379004: Cell length is 13.9µm and width is 9.2µm. Semicells are trapezoidal in outline and rounded. Apex of cell has v-shaped notch. Naded 400005: Cylindrical shaped cell, much longer than broad and covered with spines. Cell length ranged from 60.2-6.6µm and width ranged from 6.6-6.5µm. Naded 400006: Cylindrical shaped cell, much longer than broad and cell wall is covered with small hair-like spines. Cell length was 58.1µm and width was 5.5µm. Naded 510002: Cylindrical cells arragned in a colony. Cells are plain with no spikes. Cell length ranges from 7.4µm and width is around 0.8µm. Naded 538100: Each apices had 4 granulated processes that are slanted towards the center of the cell. Cells had deep median constriction with open sinus and small lateral projections near the center of the cell. Naded 863016: Cylindrical shaped filament. Ends of filaments do not tapper.
