DESCRIPTION:
This taxonomic system consists of all taxa in the NAWQA 2004-Start system (number 18) plus new taxa found in non-NAWQA samples. It was created in September 2007. It should be [was] used for all sample analysis performed in the Phycology Section until replaced by a new system (current plans are for a workshop to evaluate new names to be held in 2009; updates will be documented in the workshop report). This taxa list should be used as the primary source of names when using the Tabulate program. |
