  Description: Notes taken about the taxa for a count; older data typically includes information such as beginning and end scan coordinates, unusual taxa, etc.
  Comments: Row 1 x 43, y 86; y 102; Row 2 x 41, y 102; y 95 Only about 60 valve per transect. It took me about 50 min to complete the first transect since there are only pieces and few intact valves and frustules. Some valves also seem to be dissolved. It is not a treatment problem because there are good specimens too. Thus, it would require about 10 transects (ca. 9 hours or so) to complete de count of 600 valves.
