  Comments: Start circle: x31, y88.9; end circle: x31.3, y90. Scan length: 1.1mm. The Nitzschia species on this slide are difficult. The dominant Nitzschia has a central nodule and a very high striae count similar to N. palea. Because of the central nodule, I am calling it Nitzschia cf. paleacea.
