  Comments: Calothrix sp. in the sample: heterocyte basal, ~ 5um. Basal cell a little larger, about 5 um wide, tapering to 1.5 to 2 um. sheath thin, colorless. From Geitler, close to Calothrix Kossinskajae. Some speciemens tapering to hair. see images.
