? Comments: Calothrix sp. 1 (ANS. OZRK, LR), refer to the these relatively short and smaller Calothrix, about 7 to 8 um at base. Sheath relatively thin, not lamellated. See the images for Calothrix sp. 1.
Calothrix sp. here refer to these H. juliana like type, filaments are larger, sheath lamellated, thicker. Sometimes come out of dark clumps therefore basal part not seen, but cell more or less isodiametric. According to 19th workshop discussion.
Unknown cyanophyte filament w/sheath (as in other samples) are applied to those broken filaments with sheath, no visible tapering in trichomes, sheath might be thick or thin but firm, cells may be 8 -9 um wide, but very few in each filament.
