Naded 803990: Cells are cylindrical to oval in shape. Heterocytes are present and randomly distributed through out the filament. Heterocytes are slightly larger than resisting cells.
Naded 261000: Long, slender cells in a colony. Cells are straight or slightly curved and do not wrap around each other. Cells are wider in the middle region and tapper towards ends.
Naded 273003: Barrel-shaped cells with a length of 16.4µm and a length of 9.1µm. Isthmus measures 3µm.
Naded 327031: Cell length ranges 38.9µm and width ranges from 22.2µm. Cells about 1.5-1.6 times longer than broad. Semicell outline is semielliptic with broadly rounded apex. Sinus is short.
Naded 327085: Cell length is 21.7µm and width is 13.4µm. Cells about 2 times longer than broad. Moderate median constriction with a slightly open sinus. Cell wall is granulated.
Naded 327121: Cell length ranges from 24.8-26.1µm and width ranges from 16.0-16.9µm. Cells are about 1.5-1.7 times longer than broad. Closed sinus. Semicells are slightly flattened at the apex and outline shape is semielliptical.
Naded 828002: Cylindrical shaped cells in a filament with the heterocyte located and the end of the filament.
Naded 379004: Cell length ranges from 15.5-18.0µm and width ranges from 12.4-14.6µm. Semicells are trapezoidal in outline and rounded. Apex of cell has v-shaped notch. Sinus is closed. Sides of cells have 4 spines. Cell wall is granulated.
Naded 379025: Cell length is 64µm and length is 34.6µm. Cell about 1.9 times longer than broad. Seimicells are oval in outline with narrow and closed sinus. Apex of cells is flattened with incisions in rectangular shapped upper lobe. Cell wall is punctate.
Naded 379026: Cell length is 16.5µm and width is 11.5µm. Basal angles very round and slight, narrow incision at apex of cell. Sinus narrow and closed.
Naded 875000: Cells small and circular grouped in a rectangular shaped colony. Cell diameter is 2µm.
Naded 438004: Cell length is 35.4µm and width is 39.9µm. Lateral lobe is pyramidal shaped with two spikes on each end. Sinus wide and open with deep constriction. Lateral lobes are pyramidal shaped with two spikes on end.
Naded 438011: Cell length ranges from 46.9µm and width is 45.5µm. Cell oval in outline with rounded apex. Broadly rounded polar lobe with two short spikes on ends. Lateral lobes divided by small notch in with four spikes on each division. Sinus narrowly open only on outer half.
Naded 467004: Cell length is 6.2µm and width is 5.3µm. The exterior cells of the colony are deeply bilobed and incised. The interior cells are not incised.
Naded 510002: Elliptic shaped cells aligned linearly in colony. Colonies have no spines. Cell length is 4.4µm and width is about 1.0µm.
Naded 863016: Cylindrical shaped filament. Ends of filaments do not tapper.
