Sabine River, Orange Co, TX, US
      NEON domain: not applicable
   state: Texas (TX)
This station (assumed to be referring to Cow Bayou) has its lower limit at the junction of Old Cow Bayou and New Cow Bayou -- roughly 1/2 mile N.W. of the Sabine River. The station continues upstream for 100 yards and includes a small gut adjacent to a cypress tree on the right bank. Both sides of the stream were low-lying and covered with grasses. This station was added to determine the contributions of several industrial plants located on Cow Bayou to the overall picture of the Sabine River. (1962 report.)
