This station (Adams Bayou [believed to be the same as SB5]) is just upstream from the du Pont Drive Bridge on the south side of Orange. It extends upstream from the bridge for approximately 100 yards on both sides of the island, and was chosen to determine the effects of this water, which contains sewage and the effluent from an abbatoir, on the Sabine River.
