This station was located about 3/4 of a mile upstream from the U.S. route 309 bridge at Tunkhannock. It included the lower half of First Island. There were numerous small riffles among the rocks on the left bank and there was a small backwater located at the lower end of the island (left bank side), and a large rocky pool between the island and the right bank. This station was approximately 200 yards long. This station reflects extreme low water conditions. (1969 report.) | latitude in decimal: 41.535278
