The right bank was composed of a clay shelf on which marsh vegetation extended to the water's edge. there were a few sandy beaches and some small trees were located along this bank. The left bank was limmited to two small islands with a mud and peat base on which marsh plants and a few small trees were growing. tide pools formed among the marsh plants at low tide. A shallow shelf extended out from the islands. (1973 report.) | latitude in decimal: 30.013611
