| This station was located below the point where Pennsylvania Route 842 crosses the West Branch of the Brandywine near Wawaset, Pennsylvania. The station was about 40 feet wide by 60 yards long and started just below the bridge. The right bank was steep and tree-lined for most of its length. At the upper end of the main channel there was a shallow fast riffle. Below this the stream deepened to 2 to 3 feet and flowed rapidly over a sand and stone bottom. On the left bank an upward curving section of exposed stream bed extended into the stream. One or two intermittent channels flowed through this when the water levelwas sufficiently high. Above this tongue there was a rock-filled backwater and below it some mud and gravel deposition. There were some trees along this bank, which had a more gradual slope than the right bank.
